 so let's get into the first method you'll need to make sure first of all  you've got a whatsapp account set up   then on your phone what you'll need to do is swap  out your old sim card and put in the new sim of   the number that you want to change to then make  sure you open up whatsapp and in the top right   hand corner just select the three dots that you  can see and then when you see settings make sure   you select that from here you'll see some more  options make sure you select account you'll then   have to look for the change number option and once  you find it you'll go to another screen and what   you'll have to do here is enter your old whatsapp  number and the new one that you'll want to change   to you should then get a verification text sent to  the new number to make sure that the new number is   operational and that it works and if you  follow all of this then your chat should be   right there where they were with the old number  and you'll even get an option to let all your   contacts selected contacts or all your chat  contacts know that you've changed your number   and then whatsapp will just send this message  automatically for you without doing a thing
